Mike Piercey

Mr. Michael (Mike) Ray Piercey, age 64, passed away July 9, 2015 at his home in Brownsville, TN. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2015, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mike was in law enforcement for 38 years, being a part of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and the National Guard. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ, Ed Worsham Masonic Lodge #505, Brownsville Shriners Tin Lizzie, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and a Beekeeper. Mike was preceded in death by his father: J.C. Piercey and his step father: Robert Lovelace. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Robbie McGarity Piercey, two daughters: Holly Piercey Morton (Robbie), Wendy Piercey, his mother: Genrose Lovelace, his sister: Rosanne Piercey Davis (Mark) all of Brownsville, TN, his brother: Lyle Piercey (Kathy) Milan, TN and his step mother: Annette Piercey, Paris, TN. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
