Melvin's Obituary Mr. Melvin Kenneth Raines age 78 of Bells, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 in Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born December 11, 1939 in Bells to the late, Aubry Orton Raines and Mayola Woodson Raines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Marshall Raines, Merlin Raines and Harold Raines as well as two sisters, Pauline Campbell Raines and Evelyn Cobb. Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie Bolding of Gadsden and Mavis Hopper of Mississippi. Graveside services for Mr. Raines will be conducted Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Belleview Cemetery with Bro. Mike Glidewell officiating and burial to follow.
