Mrs. Mattie Joe Watson, age 76 passed away at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt Pleasant UMC Cemetery. Visitation for the Watson family will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 5-7 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Mattie Lou Pittman, her first husband: William Ray Kelley and her second husband: Billy E. Watson, six brothers, five sisters, one son: Bill Monroe Kelley, one daughter: Margie Ann Wilson, two grandchildren: Angela Gail Wilson and Crystal Marie Watson and one great grandson: Zachary Burns. She is survived by two sons: Mike Kelley (Joyce), Port St. Lucie, FL, Jeff Watson (Tiffany), Brownsville, TN; two daughters: Wanda Rogers (Carey), Somerville, TN, Josephine Robinson (Al), Brownsville, TN; one sister: Revie Watson, Dancyville , TN; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Mt Pleasant UMC, c/o Peggy Lewis, 103 Paul Stuart Rd, Whiteville, TN 38075.
