Mary's Obituary Mary Oswald Puckett, age 72, of Lexington, formerly of Brownsville, passed away on June 8, 2016 at her sister’s home in Bartlett, TN after a very heroic battle with cancer. She was born on April 17, 1944 in Haywood County, TN to the late Boss Oswald and Mae Belle Bennard Oswald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Randy Paul Puckett. Mrs. Puckett is survived by three sons: Samuel Jason Puckett, Shane Paul Puckett, Sr. and Shane Paul “P.J.” Puckett, Jr. all of Lexington, TN and a step-son, Ronnie White and his wife Michele of Houston, TX; Four brothers: J.W. Oswald and his wife Delaine of Scotts Hill, TN, James Oswald and his wife Jane of Brownsville, TN, Wayne Oswald and his wife Clara of Ripley, TN and Jerry Oswald of Santa Maria, CA; two sisters: Betty Ferguson and her husband Danny of New Johnsonville, TN and Elaine McCool and her husband Austin of Bartlett, TN. She leaves a legacy of four grandchildren: Kaitlin, Skyler, Matthew, Andrew and one great grandchild, Ryder, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Puckett will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Crocker officiating. Burial will follow at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Puckett family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Brownsville Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 7:00 PM.
