Mary's Obituary Mrs. Mary Evelyn Ervin age 75 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 9, 1942 in Haywood County to the late Victor Curtis Blackwell, Sr. and Myra Tritt Blackwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Ervin and a brother, Victor Curtis (Buddy) Blackwell, Jr. Survivors include a sister, Robbie Richardson (Don); step-daughter, Christie Sneed; step-grandchildren, Nicki Sneed and Hunter Sneed; nephew, Curtis Richardson (Jen); great nieces and nephews, Shyann Richardson, Shelbi-Rae Richardson, Luke Richardson and Cole Richardson. Funeral services for Mrs. Ervin will be conducted Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Connerley officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Ervin family will receive friends Saturday from noon until the service hour.
