Mary Lucille's Obituary BELLS, TN - Mrs. Mary Crawford Moses age 90, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015, in Brownsville. She was born in Bells on December 23, 1924, to the late Louis and Mosie Wade Strickland. Mrs. Moses worked many years with her family in Bells at Crawford's Grocery and later as a bookkeeper for Pictsweet. She attended Westside Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Alton Crawford and Phillip Moses. Survivors include three sons, Louis Crawford of Jackson, Len Crawford (Ferris Ann) of Bells and Lexie Crawford of Alabama; a stepson, Phillip Moses (Kay) of Brownsville and stepdaughter, Melanie Moses Thomas also of Brownsville. Other survivors include a special cousin, Nellie Francis Wade, twelve grandchildren as well as fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Crawford Moses will be conducted on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Larry Sweeny officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Read More Read Less
