Mary's Obituary Mrs. Mary Ann Cook age 53 of Brownsville, TN passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Humboldt, TN on July 3, 1963 to the late Elmer Johnson. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Elmer “Bubba” Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Cook; her mother, Martha Brooks Pepper of Brownsville; a son, Joshua Walk of Brownsville; stepson James Monroe Cook of KY; daughter, Carla Ann Ferrell of Brownsville; two step-daughters, Kristy Jones and husband, Bradley of Brownsville and Sandra Kay Cook of Jackson; a brother, Richard Pepper II of Brownsville and two sisters, Lenier Rogers of Brownsville and Paula Johnson of Brownsville; thirteen grandchildren, Shelby Marlar, Amanda Hayes, Haley Morales, Sophie Morales, Caleb Tarar, Claudia Jones, Lindsey Jones, Natalie Jones, Carter Jones, James Dallas Bond, Andrea Hall, Emilee Cook and Jonathan Hall. Funeral services for Mary Ann Cook will be conducted Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Russ officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The Cook family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Brownsville Funeral Home, 107 S.
