Mary's Obituary Mrs. Mary Evelyn Christie, age 87, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Poplar Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center in Collierville. She was born July 21, 1929 in Crockett County to the late Carless Privett and Mary Brasfield Privett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Christie, a sister-in-law and nieces and nephews. Survivors include many nieces and nephews, as well as a sister-in-law, Mary Louise. Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Christie will be conducted Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. Brownsville Funeral Home, 107 S.
