Mary's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Kay Castleman, age 45 of Alamo, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her residence.
She was born July 28, 1972 in Humboldt, TN to the late Lonnie Hammonds and Dorthey Jean Hammonds. She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hammonds.
Her children remember what an amazing cook she was and how she enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking for them. She was the most loving Maw-Maw, mother, wife and friend. She could light up a room when she walked into it. She was a compassionate loving person, doing without so that someone else didn’t have too. She was an angel on earth, and now she has her wings to define who she has been for the past 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Castleman, of Alamo; a daughter, Linda Castleman, her twin sons, Kristopher Castleman and Joseph Castleman, all of Alamo; a sister, Angela Hammonds of LaVerne, TN; a niece and nephew, Amanda Butler and David Dycus; and a grandchild Armiyah Michelle Dupree.
