Mary Ann Veirs Lindsey

Mrs. Mary Ann Veirs Lindsey, age 78 passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church. Mary Ann was the Assistant Editor for the Brownsville States Graphic for many years and also known for her column in the Graphic, “View from the Corner.” She was also the Historian for the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel James Darrell Lindsey, her parents, A.C. (Toonie) Veirs and Maxine Dinwiddie Veirs. She is survived by her son, Jim Lindsey, Nashville, TN, her daughter, Marian Veirs Lindsey Richards and her husband, David, Memphis, TN and two grandchildren, David Wesley “Bo” Richards, Jr. and John French Lindsey Richards.
