Martha Sargent

Mrs. Martha Ann Sargent, age 80 passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, TN. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in the Allen Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation for the Sargent family will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:45 AM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Doyal W. Sargent and her parents: Tolbert F. Williams and Lottie Mae Greenaway Williams. She was a member of Allen Baptist Church and she had a love for cooking, gardening, animals and most of all her family. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Garrett (Billy Jr.), Brownsville, TN; one brother: Eugene Williams (Nancy), Ponte Verda Beach, FL; one granddaughter: Brittney Buchanan (Jonathan), Lakeland, TN and two great grandchildren: Abigail and Clayton Buchanan.
