Martha Louise Bain

Martha's Obituary Martha Louise Bain, age 97, died June 22, 2017. She grew up in Dickson, TN, and graduated from Vanderbilt University. Martha was the beloved wife of Chapman Bain for 57 years and a wonderful mother to their two children. She taught Art and Art History at Hutchison for 26 years. She was a member of Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian. Martha leaves her daughter, Melinda Rhett (Rowe), and son, William Bain (Beverly), 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Brownsville. Visitation will be Monday, June 26, at 2:00, at Memorial Park, followed by the service at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to her church or a charity of the donor’s choice. Brownsville Funeral Home, 107 S.
