Marlene Jackson King

Marlene Jackson King, age 64, passed away at her residence in Brownsville, TN on Saturday, August 1, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 4:00 PM, at the home of Tracy Nichols, 1526 Rudolph Rd. in Brownsville, TN. Marlene was born on November 6, 1955 in Lauderdale County to Marvin and Alene Jackson. She worked as a seamstress thru the years. She enjoyed music, and received much pleasure growing flowers and taking care of her indoor plants. Her family, especially her grandchildren were very important to her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jerry King; her mother, Alene Jackson and one brother, Donald Ray Ethridge. She is survived by her father, Marvin Jackson of Brownsville; one son, Michael King (Beth) of Jackson, TN; Angie Turner (Deadrick) of Arlington, TN; three brothers, Bobby Jackson, Steve Jackson, Billy Jackson (Renee), all of Brownsville, TN; two sisters, Kathy Brasfield and Mary Ruth Jackson, both of Brownsville, TN. She leaves a legacy of love for her eight grandchildren, Darien, Tyler, Madison, Austin, Marissa, Jasmine, DeKyla and Lauren. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
