Marjorie's Obituary Ms. Marjorie Lorraine Frederick age 95 of Brownsville, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Northbrooke Health Care in Jackson. She was born in Memphis, March 31, 1922 to the late Paul Revere Rietz and Vara DeLene Verner Rietz. Ms. Frederick was a member of Brownville Baptist Church, Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women, Haywood Chapter #356, Order of the Eastern Star, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Legion and Red Hat Society as well as a former secretary at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Homes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jon Paul Frederick; daughters, Walterene “Renee” Scott and Constance “Connie” Johnston; brother, Paul Rietz; grandson, Jon Paul Coutchure and stepfather, Alex H. Gray. Ms. Frederick is survived by a great granddaughter, Brook Ann Coutchure. Funeral services for Ms. Frederick will be conducted Wednesday, August, 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Brownsville Baptist Church with the pastor, Bro. Bob Connerley officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. The Frederick family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Brownsville Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
