Marie's Obituary Mrs. Marie Captoria Smith Hopkins, age 93, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in the Bells Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Barcroft Smith and Willie Smith; her husband: Richard Alsey Hopkins, Sr.; her daughter: Mary Kate Hopkins; and one brother: Nolen Smith. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2009 at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Mike Moore officiating. Pallbearers will be Richie Hopkins, Jim Hopkins, Welch Hopkins, Bob Bond, Bobby Smith, and Joe Welch. Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her son: Richard A. Hopkins, Jr. and his wife, Jane, Brownsville, TN; three grandsons: Richie Hopkins and his wife, Jamie, Brownsville, TN, Welch Hopkins, Oakland, TN, and Jim Hopkins, Jackson, TN.
