Dateline: Brownsville,TN Mrs. Margaret Howse, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Haywood Park Community Hospital, in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2011 in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Connerley and Dr. H.K. Sorrell officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Howse was preceded in death by her husband: William J. Howse; her parents; Benjamin and Elizabeth Neely McKenney, her sister; Frances Ostrum. She is survived by three sons: William "Sonny" Howse (Faye) Brownsville, TN, Robert Earl "Buddy" Howse (Dot) El Dorado, AR, Frank Howse (Joyce) Brownsville, TN, two daughters: Evelyn Acuff, Pine Bluff, AR, Carolyn White (Jerry) Brownsville, TN and a sister; Betty Sue Kinnie, Bolivar, TN. Nine grandchildren: Bill Acuff, Misti Smykla, Tracye Summerville, Cheri McDougald, Kim Bishop, Kriste Morris, Jessica Littlejohn, Jennifer McElroy and Josh Howse, twelve great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Baptist Women's Ministry or Missionaries of Brownsville Baptist Church, Brownsville, Baptist Church, Attention: Betty Jo, 5 North Wilson St., Brownsville, Tennessee 38012.
