Mai Belle's Obituary Mrs. Mai Belle Simpson Duffey, age 84, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy Earl Simpson and Zelma Aurene Williams Simpson; her husband: Raymond Yates Duffey; brothers: J.B. Simpson and Roy Junior Simpson; and sister: Emma Lee Simpson Stewart. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Brownsville Baptist Church with Brother Bob Connerly, Dr. H.K. Sorrell, and Rev. Ted Duffey officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Duffey is survived by her son: James Raymond Duffey and his wife, Laurie Gentry Duffey, Jackson, TN; daughter: Patricia French and her husband, Richard B. French, Jr., Collierville, TN; brother: Leland Earl Simpson, Brownsville, TN; sisters: Dorothy Aurene Simpson McCommon, Jackson, TN, and JoAnn Simpson Cannon, Brownsville, TN; grandchildren: Jessie French, Lucas French, and Mark French; and best friend: Geraldine Kurts, Brownsville, TN.
