Lucy's Obituary Ms. Lucy Katherine Austin, age 81 of Gadsden, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born January 16, 1936 in Silerton, TN to the late James Murray Fry and Dicy Iva Murley Fry. Ms. Austin was a retired childcare provider and member for over fifty years at Center United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers: Carolyn Peek, Joe Ward Fry and James Murray Fry, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Coffman and husband Jerry of Atwood and Vickie Gardner and husband Terry of Humboldt; three sons, Robert Austin and wife Claudia of Kentucky, Ricky Austin and wife Deborah of Humboldt and Ronnie Austin and wife Penny of Dyersburg; three brothers, Bobby Fry and wife Wanda of Bolivar, Billy Fry of Clinton and Jack Fry and wife Brenda of Brownsville. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Rogers, Mike Cox, Bradley Austin, Bob Fry, Bobby Davis and Milton Legions. Funeral services for Ms. Austin will be conducted Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Center United Methodist Church with Bro. Don Barnett and Robert Austin officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Church Cemetery.
