Lucile's Obituary Mrs. Lucile Alzada Adams Acuff, age 93, passed away in her home in Brownsville, TN, Monday, June 29, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roscoe Rene Adams and Georgia Beatrice Fletcher Adams; her husband: Harvey Melvin Acuff; and a daughter: Dorothy Marie Acuff Gardner. Mrs. Acuff was a lifelong Methodist with memberships at Stanton United Methodist Church and Springhill United Methodist Church and a devoted member of the Wesleyan Service Guild. Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2009, Graveside at Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Herb Adams officiating. Mrs. Acuff is survived by two daughters: Melba Elizabeth Acuff Cox and Joy Adair Acuff Trainer, both of Brownsville; one brother: George F. Adams, Somerville, TN; six grandchildren: Patricia Gardner Harwell, William Walter "Bill" Cox III (Teresia), Mel Cox (Roniann), Samuel Gardner (Ann), John Trainer (Donna) and LuAnn McKenzie; fifteen great grandchildren: Natalie Lane (Eagle), Joseph Harwell (Jennifer), Walt Cox IV, Katie Cox Lawrence (Sam), Miller Cox, Grace Gardner Fergie (Branon), Maggie Gardner, Hannah Trainer, Rebekah Cox, Sydni McKenzie, Abby Cox, Amanda McKenzie, Jennie Cox, Anna McKenzie and Matthew Trainer; and two great great grandchildren: Matthew and Ella Harwell.
