Mr. Lloyd Stewart Davis, age 90 passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at this home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 24, 2017 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 24, 2017 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Erbin Davis and Nora Stewart Davis, six brothers, George Davis, Clifton Davis, Bobby Davis, Billy Joe Davis, Macon Davis, and James Davis, and two sisters, Jean Hastings and Norine Mashburn. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Sullivan Davis, Brownsville, TN, one son, Wayne Davis (Della), Brownsville, TN, Patricia Tippett (Danny M.), Greencove Springs, FL and Linda Gibbs (Greg), Collierville, TN, five grandchildren, Lynn Tippett, Carrie Pridmore, Rob Davis, Stephanie Gibbs and Amy Gibbs and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Poplar Corner Baptist Church, 1010 Boyd Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012.
