Linda Austin Cannon

Mrs. Linda Austin Cannon, age 68 passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Perry Cemetery in Fayette County. Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Etta Mae Lashlee Austin, a brother, Rickey Austin and a sister, Peggy Austin. She is survived by her husband: Aubrey Cannon, Whiteville, TN, two sons: Jerry “Bubba” McBride (Jeannie) Whiteville, TN, Jimmy McBride (Marissa) Brownsville, TN, three daughters: Peggy Hill (Brian) Bolivar, TN, Nichole Winberry (Jonathan) and Rachael Kirkland (Roger) both of Whiteville, TN, two brothers: Ronnie Austin, Billy Austin (Barbara), three sisters: Karen Shackleford (John), Jessie Kirkland, Sandra Goodman (Charles), fourteen grandchildren: Hannah Hill, Ashleigh Maxwell (Rob), Drew McBride, Georgia McBride, Jenna McBride, Anthony McBride, Christopher McBride, Tiffany McBride, Ethan Garland, Cayley Garland, Jacob Bond, Hannah Bond, Dylan Cannon, Emma Letienne and many great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Attention: Sharolett Allen, c/o InSouth Bank, P.O.
