Lillian's Obituary Lillian Inez Broughton Tinsley, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 15, 1926, in Calloway, TN to the late Richard Henry Broughton and Floy Stafford Broughton. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Brownsville Moose Lodge and auxiliary member of the VFW Post 6496. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jack Mulherin Tinsley; three sisters: Opal Stegal, May Montague and Imojean Lott; and one great-grandson, Timothy Tinsley. Mrs. Tinsley is survived by three sons: Robert Tinsley and Larry Tinsley, both of Brownsville and Charles Tinsley and his wife Ernestine of Stanton, TN; one daughter: Betty Schwartz of Kentucky. She leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Tinsley, Jason Tinsley, Anthony Siler, Ryan Siler, Zach Tinsley, Cody West and Jacob Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Howard, Jake Roberts, Heath Tinsley and Milo Tinsley. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Tinsley will be conducted on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Benny Morrison officiating. Brownsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens.
