Mrs. Lavanderious Denise Rivers, age 39 passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in the Tennova Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the St. James Church of God in Christ with burial to follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her sister: LaTangela Prewitt. She is survived by her parents: Arthur Rivers, Sr and Hattie Prewitt Rivers of Brownsville, TN, her siblings: Jerry (Angela) Prewitt, Selmer, TN, Talisa (Joseph) Springfield, Adrienne (Dennis) Murphy, Tequitta Bell, Palmetra (Courtney) Douglas, Kimberly (William) Bell, all of Brownsville, TN, Temeka Rivers, Arthur Rivers, Jr., Donnicco Rivers, all of Nashville, TN, D’Quarte Rivers, Sr., Jeffersonville, IN, Darrell (LaKenna) Henderson, Memphis, TN and Kristin (Steve) Gray, Stanton, TN.
