Mrs. Laura Richards, age 90, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Crestview Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Acklen Richards, Jr. and her parents: Jewell Claiborne and Thelma Byrum English. She is survived by two children: Ronnie Richards (Sheri), Lynne Waddell (Jim) both of Brownsville, TN, one sister: Hilda Wilson, Collierville, TN, six grandchildren: Clay Richards (Amy), Jake Waddell (Jennifer), Boyd Richards (Josh), Jayme Spencer (Justin) Abby Nichols, Meg Wilson (Clay) and fifteen great-grandchildren. Memorials are requested to the charity of the donor's choice.
