Laura Waddell King, age 68, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. The Burial will take place at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery at a later date. Laura was a resident of Brownsville, TN and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt, TN. She is survived by her husband, Larry King; one daughter, Aquasina Waddell and one son, Landon Waddell, all of Brownsville, TN; four brothers, Rex Waddell, Marty Waddell, William Parker, Samuel Waddell; two grandchildren, Kemeelah Waddell, April Hardin and two great-grandchildren, A’shuria Bush and A’mari Bush. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gertrude Parker Waddell; two brothers, McKenzie Waddell and Thomas Triggs; and one sister, Peggy Waddell. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
