Larry Wayne Rains

Mr. Larry Wayne Rains, age 73 passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  His Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2019, at 10 AM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019, 5 PM to 7 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Rains was the Vice-President of Financial Data for InSouth Bank.  He enjoyed fishing, playing in the Exit 56 Band and loved the music of the Beatles.  Mr. Rains was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Clara Dell Lowe Rains. He is survived by his wife, Pat Rains, Brownsville, TN, two sons: Jason Rains, (Anita) Brownsville, TN, Bennie Poe, Jr. (Rebecca), Strayhorn, MS, two daughters: Amy Williams (Mark) Loveland, CO, Donna Patrice Red, Strayhorn, MS, two sisters: Betty Rains Doyle, Ripley, TN, and Carolyn Rains Nelson (Richard),  Brownsville, TN, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Fresh Start Sheltie Rescue, 9255 Forest Wind Drive, Collierville, TN 38017.
