Katherine Farna Nation, 92 passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home in Henning, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation for the Nation family will be Monday, December 29, 2014, 11:00 - 2:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Nation was preceded in death by her parents: Tom Jack and Jewell Porter Vowell, two daughters: Cheri Baynes, Joyce Holman, two brothers: Jerry Vowell, Jackie Vowell, three sisters: Geraldine Smith, Ann Davis and Jean Rushing. She is survived by her husband: Harrell Nation, Sr. Henning, TN, two sons: Jimmy Nation (Anita) Ripley, TN, Rev. Harrell Nation, Jr. (Janice) Jackson, TN, two son-in-laws: Jerry Baynes, Tommy Holman both of Brownsville, TN, one sister: Marie Holcomb, Ripley, TN, ten grandchildren: Kelly Dunham, Kevin Nation, Lisa Scott, Jason Baynes, Kim Griffin, Keith Nation, Kristen Nation Alvarado, Kent Nation, Jeremy Daniels, Rachel Webb and seventeen great- grandchildren.
