Katherine's Obituary Mrs. Katherine Kay Merritt, age 60, went to be with the Lord peacefully, on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at her home in Stanton, TN. Mrs. Merritt was preceded i death by her parents: Samuel Thomas Williams and Minnie Ermest Williams; her husband: Donald Merritt; and a daughter: April Whittemore. Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 10, 2011, in the Edith Community Cemetery, Ripley, TN, with Bro. Barry Presley officiating. She is survived by: three sons: Carson Whittemore, (Kim), Stanton, TN, Lee Allen Whittemore and Thomas Wesley Wittemore, (Stephanie), both of Brownsville, TN; five brothers: George Williams, Bobby Williams, (Regina), and Lee Williams, all of Brownsvile, TN, Joe Williams, (Sharon), of Dresden, TN, and Clinton Williams, (Patsy), Stanton, TN; three sisters: Mary Ann Logan, (Terry), and Regina Gail Williams, all of Dancyville, Tn, and Dorothy Hess, (Freddie), all of brownsville, TN; 7eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
