Judy's Obituary Mrs. Judy S. Matlock age 75 passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville. Judy was born in Bells on June 19, 1941 to the late Theron Winston Davis and wife, Ruby Gertrude Rinks Davis. Mrs. Matlock was a member of First Baptist Church of Bemis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Anthony Matlock and a brother, William Davis. Mrs. Matlock is survived by a son, Vincent Matlock (Michelle) of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Valerie Matlock of Brentwood, TN and Vikki Lambert (Brian) of Smyrna, TN; a brother, Charles Davis of Adairville, KY; two sisters, Joan Davis Hysmith of Nashville, TN and Jean Davis Dedmon (Fred) of Bells, TN. Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Oliver Perry, Anna Matlock, Jon Matlock, Ben Matlock, Mark Matlock, Brent Bachman, Blake Bachman, Olivia Lambert and Bronwyn Lambert as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff of Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and Tennessee Oncology for their wonderful care. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Oliver, Jon, Ben, Mark, Brent and Blake. Graveside Services for Judy S. Matlock will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Oakview Memorial Park in Alamo, TN with Dr. Bill Sims officiating and burial to follow. The Matlock family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Bells Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
