Joyce Gilliland's Obituary Mrs. Joyce Gilliland Hayes age 83 of Brownsville, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Crestview Healthcare and Rehab. She was born November 17, 1933 in Frog Jump, Crockett County, TN to the late Joseph Leonard Gilliland and Velma Elizabeth Stewart Gilliland. Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Billy” Hayes and two brothers, William Donald Gilliland and Joseph Kenneth Gilliland. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lois Hayes and husband Tom Archer of Brownsville and Tammy Lynn Hayes Norris and husband Wade of Jackson; two sons, Warren Steven Hayes and wife Kathy of Cumming, GA and Martin Stewart Hayes and wife Jennifer of Simpsonville, SC; sister, Brenda Gilliland Woods of Pensacola, FL. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Brandy Michelle Hayes, Stevie Leigh Hayes, Andrew Hayes Shaub, Jacob Truman Hayes, Alexander Thomas Hayes, Holly Neyland Hayes Hollman and husband Russell, Bailee Jane Norris and Joseph Drake Norris. Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Gilliland Hayes will be conducted Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Archer’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Frog Jump with the Pastor, Bro. Keith Harwell officiating. Burial will follow in Archer’s Chapel Cemetery. The Hayes family will receive friends at the Brownsville Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
