Joshua Horne

Joshua Horne, age 36, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his home in Dyersburg, TN, surrounded by his loving family. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Josh was born in Dyersburg, TN, on April 8, 1988. He graduated in 2019 from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology with a degree in Industrial Maintenance and worked as a loader operator at Cinbar. His greatest passion was loving his family and spending time with his son. Josh enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and video games. He was known for his kind spirit and was always willing to help out anyone he could. He will be greatly missed. Josh was preceded in death by his wife of 2 years: Leslie Potts.

Josh is survived by his son: Keaton Potts of Dyersburg, TN; his father: Keith Horne (Debbie) of Halls, TN; his mother: Debra Scott Tharpe of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers: Charles Horne (Tomeshia_ of Tresvant, TN, Brandon Tharpe (Kyndall) of Polaski, TN; four sisters: Josh’s twin-Ashley Deason (Daniel) of Dyersburg, TN, Lisa Johnson of Corinth, MS, Cindy Thomas (Curtis) of Milan, TN, Brandy Tharpe (Terran) of Milan, TN; his Aunt: Donna Scott of Dyersburg, TN; He leaves behind 14 nieces and nephews and a host of friends and extended family.

The Horne family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
