Josephine's Obituary Ms. Josephine Kate Powell age 87 of Bells, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Bells Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Crockett County on February 22, 1930 to the late John Inon Bushart and Nora Belle Roberts. She is preceded in death by a sister, Noralee Harrell; two brothers, Willie Bushart and Wade Bushart. Josephine is survived by her son, Tommy Joe Powell and wife, Barbara of Bells; a brother, Tom Bushart of Bells; a sister, Betty Blair of Michigan; two grandchildren, Megan Chapman and husband, Andrew of Bells and Scotty Powell and wife, Kristina of Thompson Station, TN; and three great grandchildren, Jack Powell, Luke Powell and Sadie Kate Chapman. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Watson, Steve Carr, Roger Dillon, Tommy McLemore, Benny Coulston and Terry Harrell. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Josephine Kate Powell will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Bro. William Harrell officiating.
