Jack is lovingly remembered by his children Casey Lodes (Kimmer) and their two children Whitten and Wryland of Nashville, Clifford Lodes (Whitney) of Jackson and Crissy Lodes (B.A. Davis) also of Jackson; one brother, Tom Lodes (Karen) three sisters, Sue Hamilton (Ed), Pat Nelson (Larry) all of Missouri and Peggy Williams (Carlton) of Huron; Mother-in-Law Pam Wallace, Brother-In-Law Randy Wallace (Karen) all of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
Jack served nine years in the Tennessee Army National Guard where he finished his service as a Sergeant in the Infantry. Jack owned and operated Lodes Construction, with his son Clifford, where he put his many talents into action. His people skills and voluntary spirit made him a well-liked and respected individual within the city. Most of all, his quick wit was enjoyed by many as he was unafraid of engaging someone in conversation. He truly loved watching his beloved St. Louis Cardinals baseball, University of Tennessee Vols college football, along with any other sport that might be on the TV. If you happened to be near his home during the Christmas Season, then you were treated to the annual light and decoration display that he enthusiastically prepared for and installed.
