John Sandford "Sandy" Gibbs, Jr., 62 passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 at his home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, 2014, 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his father: John Sandford Gibbs, Sr. a sister: Cynthia Louise Gibbs Paris. He is survived by his mother: Sue Whisnant, Brownsville, TN, one son: John Philip Gibbs, (Angela) Friendship, TN, one daughter: Christy Renee Gibbs Stout, Bells, TN, three grandchildren: Madison Stout, Jacob Stout and Justin Stout.
