Mr. John E. Booker, 66 passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. John's Catholic Church in Brownsville, TN. Entombment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A Rosary will be Friday, September 12, 2014, 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home and visitation will follow from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. John was preceded in death by his parents: Ellis Melvin and Rebecca Sue McCollum Booker and his brother: Harold Booker. He is survived by his wife: Anita Cortez Booker, Sugar Tree, TN, one son: John M. Booker (Rebecca) Bells, TN, one daughter: Angela Doyle (Darrin) Somerville, TN, eight grandchildren: Lauren Hughes (Chris), Trevor Blair (Shelby) Molly Doyle, Lillian Doyle, Seth Booker, Aaron Booker, Adam Booker, Miriam Booker, two great-grandchildren: Madelynn Hughes, Olivia Hughes and a sister-in-law: Carolyn Booker.
