Mr. Joe Aldon Edwards, Sr., age 87 passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church of Bells, TN. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. A visitation for the Edwards family will be Friday, December 20, 2013, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church of Bells. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents: Aldon Dee and Allie Faye Armes Edwards, a brother: Sammy H. Edwards and a sister: Cora Ann Edwards. He is survived by his wife: Eldridge Miller Edwards, three sons: Joe "Bud" Edwards, Jr. (Tina), Andy M. Edwards (Donna), John Edwards (Emily), two daughters: Emily Griffin (Steve) and Cherry Rains, one sister: Jacqueline Permenter, all of Bells, TN; eleven grandchildren: Amy White (Keith), Allison Smith (Shane), Ashley Lilly (Toby), Joshua Garrett Edwards, Kyle Franklin Edwards, Adam Rains, Hunter Rains, Noah Rains, Joel Edwards, Katelin Edwards, Kelsey Edwards and eight great-grandchildren: Zachary White, Quinton White, Corey Lawrence, Emily Ann Lawrence, Brilee Lilly, Phoenix Beaux Rains, Skyler Dakota Rains and Ansley Smith.
