Joann's Obituary Mrs. Sharon Joann Reece age 80 of Brownsville, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born November 15, 1936 in Haywood County to the late Carl Fridley and Edith Compton Fridley. Mrs. Reece was a faithful member of Brownsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Crossen and June Brantley. Survivors include her husband, Dewey Reece of Brownsville; three daughters, Nedra Lonon and husband Chuck of Brownsville, Cindy Perry and husband Kevin of Humboldt and Teresa Russell and husband Tom of Brownsville; two brothers, Bill Fridley of Tampa, FL and Clyde Fridley of Raleigh, NC. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Ware Lonon and wife Caitlin, Allix Lonon, Carleigh Taylor and husband Ben, Madison Eubanks, Dannon Eubanks and Reid Russell as well as three great grandchildren, Gage Lonon, Reece and Graham Taylor. Serving as pallbearers are Chuck Lonon, Kevin Perry, Tom Russell, Ware Lonon, Ben Taylor and Everett Brantley. Funeral services for Mrs. Joann Reece, will be conducted Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Connerly and Bro. Joe Turman officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Reece family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
