Mrs. Jo Ann Murphy Pete, age 57 passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the St. James Church of God in Christ, Stanton, TN with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. in the St. James Church of God in Christ, Stanton, TN. Mrs. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents: John Ale and Oz Watkins Murphy, four sisters: Magnolia Miller, Febbie Smith, Ozella Murphy, Betty Murphy and five brothers: Joe Willie Murphy, Joe Cherry, Johnny Mass, Jimmy Murphy, Tommie Murphy and Albert Murphy. She leaves to cherish her memories, Ella Murphy and Earl (Carolyn) Murphy, Louisville, KY, Corine Murphy, Margaret Pewitt, Alma Murphy, Dennis (Adrienne) Murphy, Brownsville, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
