Jimmy Winbush, age 75, of Bells, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Air Force with over 3 ½ years service, a member of the VFW, and a retired employee of Pictsweet with over 45 years service. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2014, in the Chapel at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee, officiated by Bro. Mike Meredith with interment to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Martha Ann Kail Winbush; two sons, Ricky (Gayle) Winbush of Brownsville, TN, and Shane Winbush of Bells, TN; one daughter, Linda (Terry) Harrell of Bells, TN; one brother, Harold Miller of McKenzie, TN; two sisters, Sandra (Ronnie) Hart of Bells, TN, and Patty (Jimmy) Scarbrough of Gibson County, TN; and 4 grandchildren, Marti Barcroft, Anna Hardin, Nathan Winbush and Amanda Winbush. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Winbush and Earlene Holt Winbush; one brother, Wayne Winbush; and one sister, Jan Tate. Pallbearers will be Nathan Winbush, James Tate, Kevin Lonon, Colbey Lonon, Jeff McRae and Terry Harrell. Honorary Pallbearers will be G.H. Hart, Harold Morris, Roger Harrell, Carey Raines and Bobby Dickey. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
