Mr. Jimmy Glynn Phillips, Age 55, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home in Whiteville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Whiteville, TN. A visitation for the Phillips family will be Friday, August 28, 2015, 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Jimmy Glynn was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Emma Ashmore Phillips, two sisters: Barbara Cannon and Edna Jane Miles. He is survived by his wife: Annette (Tinker) Phillips, Whiteville, TN, a son: Jesse Joe Hayes (Crystal) Somerville, TN, a daughter: Amanda Jean Phillips (Jason) Whiteville, TN, two brothers: Lemuel Phillips (Dorothy), Longtown, TN, Carlton Phillips (Janice), Whiteville, TN, a sister: Joyce Pepper, Whiteville, TN, six grandchildren: Mason Taylor Phillips, Jacob Taylor Phillips, Lillie Mae Phillips, Kayleigh Grace Hayes, Kyndal Breann Hayes, Bryson Joe Hayes and his beloved dog, Copper. Memorials are requested to Lea and Simmons Funeral Home toward funeral expenses.
