Mr. Jimmy Ray Kirkland, age 67 passed away in the Haywood Park Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation for the Kirkland family will be Thursday evening, March 1, 2012, 5 to 8 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Kirkland was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Nora Watson Kirkland. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Freels Kirkland, two sons: Jesse Kirkland (Martha Jean) both of Hillville, TN, James Kirkland (Vera Rogers) Bolivar, TN, three brothers: Eugene Kirkland, Ernest Kirkland both of Brownsville, TN, Richard Kirkland, Oakland, TN and a sister: Earline Benard, Hillville, TN.
