Jesse's Obituary Mr. Jesse J. Joyner, age 91, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital located in Jackson, TN. Mr. Joyner was preceded in death by his parents: Howell and Ola Mae Joyner; one brother: James Joyner and one sister: Margie Frey Mr. Joyner was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Marine Corp in the Pacific Theater of Japan, fighting in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He enjoyed building model trains and restoring antique cars. He is survived by two daughters, Theresa (David) Ferrell of Bells, TN and Linda (Donnie) Forsythe of Gadsden, TN; one son: Jesse Ray (Amanda) Joyner of TN; one brother: Bobby (Janet) Joyner of Bartlett, TN; one sister: Dorothy Counce of Union City, TN; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his nephew and caregiver of over 25 years, Mr. Charlie Frey. Graveside services for Mr. Joyner will conducted Sunday, May 10, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Madison County with Military Honors.
