Mr. Jesse O. Edwards, age 87 passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Haywood Park Community Hospital in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Westside Church of Christ with burial to follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation for the Edwards family will be Thursday evening, September 6, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his parents: Jesse Luther Edwards and Sally Herbert Edwards, three brothers: Martin Edwards, J.L. Edwards, Bobby Edwards, a sister; Doris Joyner and a granddaughter: Traci Beth Edwards. He is survived by his wife: Eleanor Brummett Edwards, Brownsville, TN; two sons: Michael Edwards (Paula), Brownsville, TN, Donald Edwards (Cindy), Murfreesboro, TN, one brother: Billy Edwards (Helen), Memphis, TN, three grandchildren: Chris D. Edwards (Leigh), Sara Grace Edwards, Alex Edwards, two great grandchildren: Trace Edwards and Emerson Edwards.
