Jesse Byrd

Mr. Jesse Lee Byrd, age 82 passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Jefferson and Martha Stoots Byrd, five brothers: Billy Byrd, Clyde Byrd, Leroy Byrd, Robert Byrd, Larry Byrd and one sister: Jennie Mae Anderson. He is survived by his wife: Frances Byrd, two sons: Randy Byrd and Darron Byrd (Iris), all of Brownsville, TN, four sisters: Mary Lou Mathias, Betty Gail Beshires, both of Brownsville, TN, Shirley Doss, Providence, TN, Helen Vines, Flagstaff, AZ, four grandchildren: Derek Byrd (Katrina), Dallas Byrd (Brooke), Dalton Byrd (Hannah Roberts), Lane Byrd (Aliceson Hobock), one great grandchild: Houston Byrd and family friend/special caregiver: Christy Williams. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, c/o Sharolett Allen, Insouth Bank, P.O. Box 879, Brownsville, TN 38012.
