Jerald's Obituary BELLS - Mr. Jerald "Mack" Campbell, Sr., age 73, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Madison County on February 8, 1942, to the late Flossie Campbell and wife, Josephine Jones Campbell. Mack graduated from the Donaldson School of Law Enforcement in 1985. He had served on the Rescue Squad in Haywood County and held a desire to serve others. He worked as a Deputy in Haywood County then later became the Chief of Police for the City of Bells, TN. He also served as an Officer at the Madison County Penal Farm and CJC until he retired in 2007 due to health issues. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Charlotte D. Campbell of Jackson, TN; one son, Jerald Mack Campbell, Jr. (Sonya) of Trenton, TN; 3 daughters, Melinda Darlene Ferrell (Mark); Brenda Maxine Jackson, Glenda Renee Campbell and two step-daughters, Vanessa Vines and Belinda Hendrix all of Bells, TN; 3 sisters, Lillie Pearl Hayes of Bells, TN, Mary Helen Stokely (Bobby) of Brownsville, TN and Betty Jordan (Michael) of Jackson, TN; one brother, Tommy Campbell of Brownsville, TN and 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jerald Campbell, Jr,, Mark Ferrell, Chris Ferrell, Chad Ferrell, Conner Campbell Steele and J.T. Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Ellington, John Arnold, Fred Parrish, Roger Bellar and Jon Broc. Funeral Services for Mr. Jerald "Mack" Campbell, Sr. will be conducted on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes, Bells Chapel with Bro. Billy Campbell officiating. Interment to follow in Providence Cemetery in Madison County. The Campbell family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Bells Chapel.
