Jeff Siler

Jeff Siler, age 63, a resident of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Rev. Richard Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at the Cave Springs Cemetery near Henderson, TN.  Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. 

Jeff was born on January 4, 1960, in McNairy County in Selmer, TN to Curtis Dewayne Siler and Bess Brown Siler.  He worked as a Production Superintendent for Lasco Fluids where he retired after over 30 years of service.  He loved his country and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He loved life and loved his family. He always was delighted when his family would be together to celebrate special occasions. He was one who was fond of the outdoors and especially spending his spare time fishing.  He loved watching movies and cooking for his family.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Dewayne Siler. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Daniel Siler of Brownsville, TN; mother, Bess Brown Siler of Brownsville, TN; son, Eric Siler of Brownsville, TN; daughters,  Cassie Namowicz (David) of Bartlett, TN, Lauren Sterling (Dylan) of Brownsville, TN, Faith Fincher (Robert) of Pontotoc, MS, and Amy Pittman (Derek) of Jackson, TN; brothers, Paul Siler (Wanda), Andy Siler (Donna) and John Siler. He leaves a legacy of love for his eight grandchildren, Remi, Ryker, Callie, Cole, Eli, Wesley, Jacob and Jace. 

Pallbearers for the service will be members of his family and the Honorary Pallbearers will be the past and present Lasco employees.  The family has requested memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741. All arrangements and services are under the direction of Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
