Jean Campbell, Age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home, with Bro. Colton Jones officiating. Burial to follow at the Gadsden Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Bells Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the service time at 1:00 P.M.
Mrs. Jean was born in Bells, Tn on October 17, 1943, to the late Doyle Emison and the late Mildred Fullbright Emison. She attended the Gadsden Community Church. Mrs. Jean was a talented seamstress, altering and making clothes and quilts. She was so very talented and very crafty, enjoying making different wreaths. She loved to dance and collected clocks, porcelain dolls and Christmas houses. She was also preceded in death by one brother: Tommy Wayne Emison; and one sister: Linda Doss.
She is survived by the father of her children: James Thomas Campbell of Bells, TN; one son: Tommy Kevin Campbell; one daughter: Rhonda Jean Hawks; one brother: Johnny Emison; one sister: Sandra Emison; She leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren: Katie Campbell, Gracie Campbell, Josie Campbell, Heather Simmons and Lechelle Lackey; and 3 great-grandchildren: Lucas Simmons, Jake Simmons and Lakelyn Lackey.
Serving as pallbearers are Patrick Lackey, J.T. Campbell, Tyler Simmons, Phillip Hawks, Mike Simmons and Gaylon Doss.
