Mrs. Janie Gilliand, 98, passed away, Friday, October 3, 2014 in Crestview Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2014, 1:30 - 3:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Gilliand was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. Harold Gilliand, her parents: Charles Thomas and Daisy Ann Holloman Jones, one son: John Gilliand and one brother: Henry Foote. She is survived by her daughter: Millie Richards (Chris) Brownsville, TN, one sister: Mildred Boone, Jackson, TN, two granddaughters: Lisa Stanfield, Angela Kirby and four great-grandchildren: Andrew Stanfield, Shelby Stanfield, Bradleigh Grace Bailey and Alyssa Kirby.
