Mrs. Janet Buie, age 76 passed away in Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in the Poplar Corner Baptist Church. Private Entombment. Visitation for the Buie family will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 5-8 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Buie is preceded in death by her mother: Sybil Boomer, her father: Zeno Dixon and her step-father: Samuel Hooper. She is survived by her husband: Kenneth E. Buie, Jackson, TN; three sons: Tony Morrison (Phyllis), Georgetown, TX, Kenneth R. Buie (Barbara), Brownsville, TN; John Buie (Krista) Jackson, TN; one daughter: Teresa Thornburg, Jonesboro, AR, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers: Jimmy Dixon, Jackie Dixon, Louie Dixon & Randy Dixon, all of Greenville, NC; Mike Boomer, Virginia Beach, VA; sisters: Diana Gamache, Brownsville, TN, Mona Sue Galbreath, Brenda Adams and step mother: Louise Dixon, all of Greenville, NC.
