James Chester Williams

James' Obituary Mr. James Chester (J.C.) Williams age 61 of Bells, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Alamo Nursing Home and Rehabilitation. He was born on January 28, 1957 in Haywood County to the late Carlyle Williams and Lois Overton Williams. Survivors include one brother, David Williams (Joy) of Brownsville; two sisters, Lila Jean Holt (Jerry) of Jackson and Maude Foster (Jackie) of Dyersburg, his special friend Linda Plunk of Bells; Tammy, Scottie, Chase, Hannah Grace and Justin, all of Bells. Other survivors include nieces: Ramona McKay, Jean Manahan, Joy Swain, Debbie Bryant and nephews: Michael Graham, Jackie Foster Jr. Serving as pallbearers include Justin Warren, Chase Phillips, Scotty Mosier, Duran Johnson, Matthew Jahnkow and Tommy Waddell. Honorary pallbearers include Terry Brown, Steve Allen, Wendell Combs, Bobby Rogers and Bruce Steel Funeral Services for Mr. Williams will be conducted on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Gary McDonald, officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Methodist Church Cemetery. The Williams Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
